DIANE A. SEARS is the Editor/Author of a book on Fatherhood and Men’s Issues – IN SEARCH OF FATHERHOOD® -- TRANSCENDING BOUNDARIES; the Managing Editor of a quarterly international male parenting journal which was launched in October 1999—IN SEARCH OF FATHERHOOD® --- and is exclusively published and distributed by BSI International, inc. (www.bsi-international.com) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and the creator and moderator of IN SEARCH OF FATHERHOOD®’s blog at http://globalfatherhooddialogue. blogspot.com – all of which facilitates a “Global Dialogue on Fatherhood” for Men who are Fathers from all Walks of Life throughout our global village. The concept for IN SEARCH OF FATHERHOOD® was created by Sears’ mentor, the late L.T. Shortly after Mr. Henry’s death, Sears began the process of resurrecting her late mentor’s vision through the launching of the quarterly international male parenting journal—IN SEARCH OF FATHERHOOD®, the publishing of a book – IN SEARCH OF FATHERHOOD®--TRANSCENDING BOUNDARIES, and the creation of a Fatherhood blog IN SEARCH OF FATHERHOOD® at http://globalfatherhooddialogue.blogspot.com.

Why did you go into Business?
To resurrect the vision and perpetuate the legacy of my Mentor, the late L.T. Henry, an author, photojournalist, sales and success motivation trainer and classically trained jazz musician who performed briefly with the Philadelphia Orchestra and was the former drummer to internationally acclaimed songstress and television and film actress Ms. Della Reese
Why did you join the Network?
Ms. Michelle Mitchell was kind enough to extend an invitation to me.
WHEN YOU’RE IN DOUBT
OR FACING ADVERSITY,
WHOM SHALL YOU
TURN TO?
WHEN YOU’RE FEELING DISTRESSED,
OR UPSET AT THE SOMEONE,
WHOM SHALL YOU
LOVE THE MOST?
WHEN YOU’RE FACED WITH DISAPPOINTMENTS,
OR A BREAKUP,
WHOM SHALL YOU
CONTINUE TO CARE FOR?
AND WHEN YOU’RE ALONE,
AND FEELING DEPRESSED,
THE PERSON WHOM SHALL NEVER
LEAVE YOUR SIDE,
IS THE PERSON WHO LOVES YOU THE BEST
YOU!

Thank you for allowing a platform of expression for the Home Girl, CEO.
You and your vision are both absolutely FABULOUS!
As far As my home based business, I haven't completely taking the plunge but, I'm 90% there!
Here's my thing:
I can no longer fall victim to a work place that has not set up ample respect for the single mom! My last job wanted me to work from 4pm-1am. In my opinion, they were telling me to forget about my family, and forget about having a life and let someone else raise your child!
To me, that's truly unacceptable as well as, on the other hand, motivating.
I can't continue to do the same thing and get the same results. I think they call that "insanity", right!
For me, that was a serious wake up call. So now, I'm working through this thing called "fear" and it's been a douzie! However, I plan to succeed at all cost.
I have too! I'm not giving myself any other option and you shouldn't either.
Always remember that we come from a background of strong survivors that would do anything for the price of freedom, even risk loosing their lives.
So , on that note, lets expect to succeed. Let's plan, organize, and execute! Let's be that person that we are waiting to show up! Let's do the do! Let's make a committment to hold each other accountable for success. I'll take the stand first.
