I started my business after losing my hair, when my scalp was damaged.
I discovered lace wigs and was hooked. Not only did I look good, but you couldn't tell it was a wig.
I began selling them online first just catering to those with hair loss due to damage, illness or conditions like alopecia.
But as my business grew I realized it was great for those who wanted an effortless, inexpensive, and most of all undetectable new look!
As my confidence grew so did my interest in my overall health. With this renewed vigor I explored beauty and fashion in a way that I wasn't able to or willing to before.
I sell lace wigs to someone struggling with hair loss due to an illness or someone who just wants to make a trendy fashion statement.

Going through The Storm : Domestic Abuse
Sept 2, 2009 I left my home with my children (3) with just bags of clothes.
I was in a shelter for 5 weeks with my kids in Philadelphia There wasn't space in the domestic violence shelters.
funny I never thought I would be in this place.
Yes I worked, Yes I was married never cheated on my husband I was a good wife, mother...now I sit in fear of the unknown and of him.
I got a Protection from Abuse Order and came back home I changed the locks, I will also be getting a home security system. I… Continue

Children Pageant in Philadelphia May 30, 2009
This is great first time pageant because children receive a gift no matter their place. It also has limited spaces so the children and parents are not overwhelmed with 25 children.
There are a few spots left in spaces for ages 5-10
Because of short notice the entry fee is 25.00.

As far As my home based business, I haven't completely taking the plunge but, I'm 90% there!
Here's my thing:
I can no longer fall victim to a work place that has not set up ample respect for the single mom! My last job wanted me to work from 4pm-1am. In my opinion, they were telling me to forget about my family, and forget about having a life and let someone else raise your child!
To me, that's truly unacceptable as well as, on the other hand, motivating.
I can't continue to do the same thing and get the same results. I think they call that "insanity", right!
For me, that was a serious wake up call. So now, I'm working through this thing called "fear" and it's been a douzie! However, I plan to succeed at all cost.
I have too! I'm not giving myself any other option and you shouldn't either.
Always remember that we come from a background of strong survivors that would do anything for the price of freedom, even risk loosing their lives.
So , on that note, lets expect to succeed. Let's plan, organize, and execute! Let's be that person that we are waiting to show up! Let's do the do! Let's make a committment to hold each other accountable for success. I'll take the stand first.
