She has earned a MBA from Eastern University and an undergraduate degree from Princeton University.

As a breast cancer survivor with a double mastectomy, Franne is the author of the book, Off My Chest, But On My Mind: Busting Beyond Breast Cancer. As a stroke survivor, Franne is the author of the book, Stepping Forward: Moving Beyond Paralysis.
