- Kelly received her Bachelors of Arts in Fashion Merchandising from University of Maryland Eastern Shore and has an Associates Degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. In 2006, she completed her MBA in Organizational Psychology and Development from American Intercontinental University.
She is a fashion designer and image consultant for her own company, KellyGirl Images. It is a clothing line for the “sexxy” size woman. Her mission is to fill the gap in the fashion industry for full figured women and encourage all women to embrace and love the skin they were born in. A woman should always feel feminine and sexxy.
Kelly is very active in her church’s youth ministry and is currently serving as a Department Head for the Youth Fellowship Department and a Servant Leader of Teen Skills 4 Life. The ministry creates and facilitates lessons on life skills, college application process and job preparation based on biblical principles and teachings. Along with those positions comes the job of planning youth focused events and chaperoning outings or functions. In 2007, she was appointed as the Vice President for Ladies Blessed by God, an organization dedicated to educate, edify, empower women. Their mission is to foster positive relationships with today’s young women to equip them with the necessary tools to make decisions that lead to productive lives.

As far As my home based business, I haven't completely taking the plunge but, I'm 90% there!
Here's my thing:
I can no longer fall victim to a work place that has not set up ample respect for the single mom! My last job wanted me to work from 4pm-1am. In my opinion, they were telling me to forget about my family, and forget about having a life and let someone else raise your child!
To me, that's truly unacceptable as well as, on the other hand, motivating.
I can't continue to do the same thing and get the same results. I think they call that "insanity", right!
For me, that was a serious wake up call. So now, I'm working through this thing called "fear" and it's been a douzie! However, I plan to succeed at all cost.
I have too! I'm not giving myself any other option and you shouldn't either.
Always remember that we come from a background of strong survivors that would do anything for the price of freedom, even risk loosing their lives.
So , on that note, lets expect to succeed. Let's plan, organize, and execute! Let's be that person that we are waiting to show up! Let's do the do! Let's make a committment to hold each other accountable for success. I'll take the stand first.
