About Me:
I am Tara Colquitt, The Credit Woman. My purpose is to help you learn to manage your credit, money and debt.

Over the past 8 years, I have actively assisted clients in credit restoration, money management, debt elimination and negotiations in an effort to improve their opportunity to purchase their primary residence. In other cases, I have assisted small business owners who have “mixed credit scores” that interfere with their ability to secure business contracts.

I have a proven track record of helping others improve their credit scores and I educate and mentor clients with diverse circumstances about using credit properly to gain access to wealth.

Most of us need to change our relationship with money.

In addition, we must build relationships with people to potentially gain leverage to secure financial freedom for future investments. I obtained my BS Degree in Civil Engineering from Howard University. I then worked as a Project Engineer for the City of Philadelphia for 15 years while investing in real estate and helping potential clients with their credit.

I have written numerous blogs on credit restoration. And I was featured along with my ex-husband in the November 2007 Essence magazine regarding real estate investment.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

My ex-husband and I were featured in Essence magazine's November 2007 issue. I have extensive experience in real estate, although I began my professional career as a civil engineer. For the last 15 years I have helped create a highly successful business restoring homes.

As an investor I also knew that to sell a house, it was imperative that a person’s credit was up to par. That is why I initially became interested in credit restoration in the early 2000s. I always remember:

'No one wants to buy what you sell. What they want are the results they can achieve by utilizing what you sell to pursue their own goals and objectives.'

Therefore, with my vast knowledge in real estate transactions, wide circle of resources and my personal commitment to helping each person who has set a dream of home ownership or another goal, I will guide them each step of the way to help them achieve their dream.

That's my bio, but there is so much more to each of us! I discovered 'The Secret' in February 2007 and since consciously incorporating 'The Law of Attraction' in my life, I have been transformed.

Please e-mail me so we can meet 'personally'.

Check out my website, blogs and Internet podcasts about credit and what you need to know in today's ever changing credit climate.

Atlanta Job Opportunity

I just heard of an opening for an SEC Reporting/Reit II Manager job in Atlanta. If you know of any attorneys or financial services people who might have an interest have them contact me and I can get them connected to the appropriate person.

Hey there Tara! I am trying to find a way to get business credit without spending 100s or 1000s of dollars, isn't there a way that I can just do it myself. I just need to know the steps, I already am registered with several, but now what? Thanks!

A Comments from one of our readers:
Thank you for allowing a platform of expression for the Home Girl, CEO.
You and your vision are both absolutely FABULOUS!
As far As my home based business, I haven't completely taking the plunge but, I'm 90% there!

Here's my thing:
I can no longer fall victim to a work place that has not set up ample respect for the single mom! My last job wanted me to work from 4pm-1am. In my opinion, they were telling me to forget about my family, and forget about having a life and let someone else raise your child!
To me, that's truly unacceptable as well as, on the other hand, motivating.
I can't continue to do the same thing and get the same results. I think they call that "insanity", right!
For me, that was a serious wake up call. So now, I'm working through this thing called "fear" and it's been a douzie! However, I plan to succeed at all cost.
I have too! I'm not giving myself any other option and you shouldn't either.
Always remember that we come from a background of strong survivors that would do anything for the price of freedom, even risk loosing their lives.
So , on that note, lets expect to succeed. Let's plan, organize, and execute! Let's be that person that we are waiting to show up! Let's do the do! Let's make a committment to hold each other accountable for success. I'll take the stand first.
